Learning to be Doers versus Hearers only

SIGMA Sistas gather to study God's word in order to live lives practically rooted and grounded in the Word of God.  These sessions help us to study to show ourselves approved unto God in rightly dividing the Word of Truth.  We examine precept upon precept, grasping the words to live by on our daily journey.   It is our desire to be as Ken Abram says, "Armed and Dangerous."  Armed with the Word of God and dangerous because we possess the kind of knowledge that can change peoples' lives.  Every January we attend a Leadership Training to prepare for the year.

International Missions

In Agu, Uganda, a small house was built by Annah Emuge in 2004 to shelter 15 homeless, orphaned children. Today, there are more than 50 children in the house.  Annah grew up in Agu, Uganda and now lives in St. Louis, Missouri with her family. She is still very ingrained in the Agu community where her mother (who is 80) still oversees the 50 children and upkeeps the orphanage home.  G3 Visionary, Denita, met Annah during her educational journey.  God's Girls support Annah's work serving at her fundraisers and contributing, financially.  Click the image to see how you can volunteer or help support Annah in her efforts.

CIC:  Christ In the Community

To fulfill the mandate of The Great Commission, Sistas In God (God's Girls), take Christ in the Community to spread joy to those who are unable to meander outside their senior living communities.  Pre-pandemic, we spent time in worship and fellowship over food, fun and games. What joy is wrought as God's Word is taught.  We are always excited to testify to the goodness of the Lord!
